| Hello Everyone!! I sure fell WAY behind on saying hello!! I keep up good with My Space but, Xanga...I keep forgetting about. How RUDE!! I did have Kayla obviously...she is 4 & 1/2 months already. During my maternity leave, I resigned from my position at the bank to be a stay at home Mom. It was a really hard decision to make financially but, the rewards of it have been greater than ever imagined! We even signed on a house yesterday that is supposed to close on Nov. 21st. We are so thankful!! The house is not HUGE but it sure fits our needs perfectly. I even start watching enough kids to make up the difference from our rent to our mortgage! Answers to prayer....let me tell ya!! I hope all of you are well! Taylor is LOVING 2nd grade and Chris is still working HARD so that I can stay home to raise the girls. Hopefully they won't end up too damaged! LOL!! Blessings to you all and remember to pray for Casey every day!! We are going to drive up to Seattle and see them again. Have a great day!! Heather | | |
| Well, I am STILL pregnant! I kept praying that the baby would not be born too early and now that it is safe for her to come.....she is staying in! I have tried everything from walking a lot, cooking, cleaning, moving heavy boxes, hanging up baby clothes....never sitting still. I even rode in the car with my Brother driving today which you would think should have sent me right into full blown labor but...nope. Nothin. I guess this is where the patience comes into play. Wish I had some. I am getting frustrated because she tried to come out too early and now that she has a green light...she has her emergency brake on!! Come on kid!! Grandma Cheryl can come to Washington now that the pastors are back.....that is all I was waiting for!! Ok, enough about that.....except for still accepting prayers!! I hope you all are doing well and enjoying the start of a great summer!! We are coming to Idaho for sure in August for a 10 day stay at the "Casa De Rasmussen!!" We are so excited and can't wait for you all to meet out new little girl....assuming she is born by then. Ha Ha I will keep you all posted! Peace, Love, and Contractions to all!! I crack myself up. | | |
| Hello all you fine folks of Idaho!! How are ya doing? Just thought I would say hello and let you know I am still alive! If you read my Mom's site, you now know I am on bed rest for the remainder of my pregnancy. I am alittle bummed and frustrated but my goal is to make it to June 5th which would put me at 37 weeks along and that would mean a much healthier baby than if I had delivered last week! I am thankful that they were able to stop my contractions. I hope you are all doing well!! We are planning to take a trip over there in August with the new baby so you all can pass her around during church....as if Gramma Cheryl will let go! Ha Ha
Chris and Taylor are doing great and have been SO helpful to me. They do everything around here right now and even though it makes me nuts....I am thankful to have them in my life. I am just one who tends to try and do it all myself. (Gee Mom, wonder where I picked that up!!) LOL Well...that's about all folks! I will keep you posted and as soon as she is born...I will get the pictures out to you!! Thank you for your prayers for myself as well as my Aunt Carmen. Love, Heather & 1/2 | | |
| Hello Everyone!! How are you all doing?? Things are ok in our neck of the woods! Taylor is back home from Mom & Dean's house. I am glad to have her back, I missed her a lot!! I have my next doctor's appointment tomorrow and I am hoping for another great report!! I have about 8 weeks left or so and time is flying by fast!! I don't have a whole lot of time to write tonight but I wanted to let you all know that my Mom's sister/my Aunt came out of surgery alright and is expected to have a full recovery at this point. They do not believe at this time that the cancer has spread. THANK GOD!! Thank you for all of your prayers for my family and I hope you all are doing wonderful!! Hope you had a great Easter too! I will write again when I have more than a second!!! | | |
| Hi everyone! I have not been so good at keeping up on posting lately. Priorities....what a bummer. Well, it is 12:24am and I have been awake for over an hour. Lucky I guess...especially since I have to get up at 3:45 am to go work at the Fire Station my Husband works at for a fishing derby/open house. The good thing is that after the fisherman's breakfast is over and the fish weighing starts at 9am I can go to sleep for a bit! Yikes I have sure been having trouble sleeping lately. I went to bed at 8 thinking that would give me enough sleep for the event but...NO just had to wake up. This must be preparing me for Kayla's birth and lack of sleep I will get then. I have approximately 10 weeks left until I will be having my 2nd baby girl. Please pray that my pregnancy keeps going as well as it has. I was tested for gestational diabetes this week as well as Iron levels ect.....clean bill of health for now!! Thank you Lord!!! Well, enough about me! How is everyone else doing these days? We are still planning to come to Idaho in August to visit Mom & Dean with the kids so you can all see Taylor and Kayla at church or at Mom's house. Maybe while we are there....I can help Mom pull some weeds! Well, not much else to say. Just wanted to let you know I was still alive. Thank you all again for praying for our Family during the loss of Mom's Aunt Mary. That was such a tough time for her especially! Now just pray for my Aunt (Mom's Sister) and her cancer. Maybe a little prayer for Mom's sanity wouldn't hurt either OR a break from tragedy!! Well...until next time I have extra time in the middle of the night.....have a wonderful spring ya'll!! ("ya'll" is a famous word spoken by Laura!!!!) LOL!!! | | |
